Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

This past weekend we packed up the van,the boat, the truck, and the camper, and headed out to the lake 99 miles away. We had a very uneventful Thursday setting up camp and putting the boat in the water. Everything went to smooth. Friday made up for it. There are two valves on the black tank David. Now we know. The loose wire on the starter of the boat is now tight. We should have put 2 ac in the camper. I should make sure my phone is charged. We survived black Friday and James had a great time with his friends on Saturday.
Baby geese. Mary loves to take pictures.
Mary took this picture. Isn't God good and his handy work is just remarkable
The children and I was waiting for David and James to come back with the camper and we thought we would take the boat out for a ride. It would not start. David thought we left something on and ran down the battery. He tried to jump it off and it did no good. Then he had it towed to the ramp loaded it on the trailer and drove it to the Marina. They said it was a bad starter. David did not want to pay $600.00 dollars so he towed it back to the camp ground where he worked on it some more and found a loose wire to the starter and the boat cranked right up. I didn't do it!!!!
James invited some of his friends to come to the lake and have some fun in the sun.

After a long day on the lake I talked the guys into having a quick bite before hitting the road.It was so fun sitting around listening to all the wipe out story's. I had to pass around Motrin for all the pain

I'm going to hold down this chair
Daniel did good for a little guy who couldn't get in the water all weekend
Everyone saying good by and trying to get the energy to head home.
David making pina-colodas for everyone. Just like always. Give him a blender and he can make the best drinks.
Waiting on our drinks. Look closely at Krissy. She made this face all by her self and thought she was being so funny.
After our weekend at the lake Sarah has swimmers ear. Took her to Dr. Tates on Monday. I hope tonight she can get some sleep.
Mommy and Aaron at Dr. Gay's office. He is my brave little man, kind and sweet. He waited for an elderly women to get to the door so he could open it for her. I didn't even have to remind him.
Aaron waiting patiently for his name to be called for his turn to see the dentist.
This is my x-ray. See my big tooth fixing to come in. You can see my broken tooth. I think this is so cool.
I have to come back next month to have my tooth fixed. I'm happy cause I like going to the dentist.

It has taken me a week to finish this blog. It has been harder then I thought. Things are fresh in my mind today after we ended up back at the hospital to have another cyst removed. This to shall pass. I'm so thankful that we have our Daniel and that our family is whole.

Going to go get all my vitals with Jill. She has been with us from day 1. Love our Jill she takes super doper care of Daniel.

Daniel got tired of being NPO (no food) He was beside himself and shut down.
Dr. Provisor and the nursers all waiting to coordinate things with Dr. Shaker's office.
Daniel just got his ni-night medicine
There was over 13 people in the operating room. We had two teams taking turns working on Daniel. Dr. Shaker was doing his thing
This is the second of two procedures that Daniel had done this day. Dr. Provisor was doing the bone marrow aspiration.
Back in the recovery room

First outing after starting treatment. Daniel couldn't walk yet (side effects to the meds (He still has his hair)) but was still determined to be apart of the family.
Oops had my hair.
Daniel climbing to the top.
I wrote on Daniel's Caringbridge page but I also wanted to write on the blogg cause I plan on making this a family yearbook.

Daniel was running a low grade fever last night. It's a new cyst on his cute little bubble butt. The antibiotics just don't do it right now. We hope that if the dr. thinks that it has to be opened up that they will do it tomorrow when they do his bone marrow aspiration. Yes, that's right his last procedure for this road map of 3 years, 3 months, and 1 week will be over tomorrow.

I feel different then the way I thought I would. We are not having an end of the CHEMO party but a very small birthday party instead. (I don't know what tomorrow holds for Daniel, so we are playing it safe with the small party. He may not be up for much more.) Daniel and I will make cupcakes to take tomorrow and invite the staff to join us if they have time. Have you ever held your breath for a long time, and its time to let it out and relax, I don't know relax. I do know trust, and that is what I want to do. Put all my trust in the one who loves Daniel even more then me.

The road map for Daniel's CHEMO has been such a big part of our lives that it is going to take some adjusting on our part to get off that road and get on with living the new road that the Lord will show us. No more hospital trips, no more daily meds, no more cringing every time someone sneezes.... It will be interestingly good.

Randa will be home tonight and Lit David will be at the lake with us this weekend. It will be nice to be together.
Sunday was spent with family. We hung around the house and just visited with David's parents.

The children could not wait for Krissy to take her nap so they could get out the play doh set that Daniel received for his birthday. Of course they had to get out all the play doh, so what a mess. Grandaddy doing what he dose best....Bar-B-Q on the grill. Yummy, Yummy for all our Tummy's. He made some great ribs and we cooked up some fresh corn on the comb from his garden along with his fresh picked green beans. Thanks grandaddy.
