Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

We were so happy to have Grammy join us from Maine for 3 weeks.

We missed you Grammy

After I uploaded my pictures I came across a dozen pictures that I didn't take.
I thought ok Stephen has had my camera again.
Until I saw the self portrate of a pair of little feet that I know belong to..... Daniel.
So here is the world the way Daniels sees it.
Mary showing Stephen some chords on the piano
and who's piggies are these? Hmm...
Daniel is loving having his Grammy around
Krissy made up her own game to play with Grammy. She would put her hat on Grammy and then ask for it back and run over to me and put it on me and then take it back to put on Grammy. We all had fun watching her.
On her way to give me a turn

Now give it back so I can give it to Mommy
I'm so cunning!
Dancing to their own music with their own style for Grammy

Lawre had so much fun finishing the shark puzzle.

Quiet time with lots of love!

Is it time to pick our watermelon?
You bet it is!
Krissy was not the first hunny bunny to find our watermelon.
Earlier that morning there were two bunny's hopping around the watermelon patch.
That's when Mary said we had to pick it now.
This is where our BIG watermelon grew from just a little brown seed.
Isn't Gods designs great to marvel at?
We will save our watermelon for Sunday:)'

David cooked us a B.B.Q chicken dinner for Sunday afternoon.
It was so good to have him home with us.

David is a mean griller!

There is Grandma and David with 10 children around the table.
Of course I'm behind the camera, but my place is beside Aaron.
It's hard to tell so I will make it easy on you.
Krissy makes #1

Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Daniel, Sarah, Randa, Lawre, David, that's 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Are you still counting? James makes 10
David said that we should sue the producers of the Waltons,
because it gives a false impression of a large family sitting around the table.
It is not that easy!!!

Our perfect watermelon...
AKA
DESERT

You have to watch Miranda she is always up to something!
Boy Stephen your smile is almost as big as Randa's

David I was the last one to write TAD......
Your it!
Everyone loves our watermelon
Daniel liked the first few bites then said it was toooo sweet.
David smile for one more pic. and then Mom WILL put the camera up.
Right mom!!!! (Grit teeth)
Maaaybee, you never know.
Way to much fun with our watermelon
Never to much fun with our family!
Krissy is 1 year and 10 months and she will sit and do her work just like the big kids.
This is very serious stuff

Lawre was so pleased with his work.

Switch music over to #2 "We're Going to be Friends"

Walker's School Day's 2010-2011 has begun
The children and I worked on our bulletin board the week before we started school
Krissy gets her rhythm from her Daddy
I'm concentrating on coloring RED school is fun, but hard.
I remember my addition facts from last school year.

How many ducks in the pond?
Reviewing on the computer is great way to do math.

Mary and Katie
Aaron and Sarah like school and work hard.
I'm done with my work today. I like to draw my own pictures.
Sarah knows the answer
What do they want for # 3?
Take our picture we are so cute.
Never to young to start. Big sister is a big helper.
I don't need any help, but thank you.

I try to find art projects that we can all work on together. There are always different levels of learning to tap into for every age group. Krissy how to participate, Lawre the names of the colors, Daniel blending, and the rest were reviewing and helping the little ones.

Krissy + Colors = Cute

Red + Yellow = Orange

Yellow + Blue = Green

Blue + Red=Purple

Rainbow of many promises to come!

City mouse said to the country mouse...
