Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

Switch music over to #2 "We're Going to be Friends"

Walker's School Day's 2010-2011 has begun
The children and I worked on our bulletin board the week before we started school
Krissy gets her rhythm from her Daddy
I'm concentrating on coloring RED school is fun, but hard.
I remember my addition facts from last school year.

How many ducks in the pond?
Reviewing on the computer is great way to do math.

Mary and Katie
Aaron and Sarah like school and work hard.
I'm done with my work today. I like to draw my own pictures.
Sarah knows the answer
What do they want for # 3?
Take our picture we are so cute.
Never to young to start. Big sister is a big helper.
I don't need any help, but thank you.

I try to find art projects that we can all work on together. There are always different levels of learning to tap into for every age group. Krissy how to participate, Lawre the names of the colors, Daniel blending, and the rest were reviewing and helping the little ones.

Krissy + Colors = Cute

Red + Yellow = Orange

Yellow + Blue = Green

Blue + Red=Purple

Rainbow of many promises to come!

City mouse said to the country mouse...

So how did you like the first week of school?
Loved it!
Way to go on a job well done for our first week of school 2010-2011

  2. The pictures are precious. All of them! Bet you don't see that many kids so happy at school. Love the expression on Mary's face in the picture with Katy.

  3. Thanks for all the photos - I love seeing the kids doing their school! You have a great space for school - is that your basement? I also like your song you chose - it's the song I put up each year when I post back to school pics! We start school in 2 weeks - not ready for summer to end.
