Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

Lee Brice - Love Like Crazy (Official Video)

l
Ok I showed James the song I wanted to show him and he said it was good but not as good as a song he wanted to show me. Love Like Crazy is a great song.
Before David and I went to Maine the children and I decided to make a scrapbook for Aunt Sue and Uncle Jerry. We took paint and made hand prints of our hands and each child drew a picture for the scrapbook.
The next day we started to design our scrapbook. With a few children at a time we picked out our favorite pictures, stickers and some bible versus and then put them all together for there page. Each child did at least 2 pages a piece.
At 3:00 pm we took a brake and had ice cream cones.

She looks like the best of girls!
Stephen liked doing it as much as everyone else.

Not for long: Krissy had to get in on the act.
Mary was the last one to do her scrapbook page, we finished up at around 11:00p.m.
We had a great time and I think Aunt Sue and Uncle Jerry like it very much.

Andrew Peterson - Dancing in the Minefields (Official Video)

This is an awesome song. I can't wait to get David to listen to it and James to play it on his guitar!
Fort Knox on the tip of the clearing from the top of the bridge tower. I didn't have time to post all the pictures so I thought I would add a little now and then. I have gone back and added some to the older blog of our day bike trip.
This after noon Mary and I grilled stakes and made potato salad for dinner . Daddy had to leave early for work so he took his with him. As the children and I sat and ate Aaron asked me as a joke "Why is a poop deck called a poop deck." Well everyone had there own answers and the laughter could be heard all the way to the middle of town I'm sure. So after we ate I looked up the real answer. It comes for the French (of cause) la poupe (Mary came close to the real answer). We had fun finding out the meaning and were it is located on the ship, but there answers were very funny and imaginative.

Today was a big day. First thing this morning Aaron and I went to his dentist to have his tooth fixed. Pic. did not turn out. At the dentist office Dr. Gay asked all kinds of questions about Daniel and his ALL. A close friend of the dentist has a daughter that was diagnosed with AML. A more vicious type of Leukemia that really likes to come back. They can usually get it in the first go round with CHEMO but it likes to rear its ugly head and then they do a transplant. Just BAD news. I was not expecting it to hit me as hard as it did. This girl is from right here in Dublin and I felt sick when I was talking about this awful sickness. Will I ever stop feeling this way? I'm sure I will.
When we got home we did lunch and I needed to work in the office on our add campaign for Greenwood Place. The kids went down to Grandma's for a visit and then came home for a quick supper. cause David was taking us all out to the movies to see "Despicable Me". Great Movie. While we were getting dressed Daniel came running in my room and wanted to show me his latest prize. Another tooth was pulled. I asked him how he did it and he said, "Daddy just yanked it right out of my head."
I'm so glad that we went to the movies. It was so funny! There was two other family's there. A father and two children right behind us and then a mother and two children right in front of us. The whole theater was empty except for the 3 rows we were in right in a row. Well the father behind us almost choked on his popcorn I don't know how many times, and this would set David off laughing at him and the movie and the woman in front of them would turn around and scowl which I thought was to funny and the kids were all just laughing. That I don't know how anyone could have kept a straight face it was so contagious. The laughing bug came home with us and every one will be quoting this movie for ever and everyone will continue to laugh at the same jokes. (OH POOP!) For us tonight money well spent.

For Sarah's Birthday she wanted face paint. Today we had some fun with it. We looked up on the computer some ideas and the kids picked out what they wanted.
Aaron is Flam boy. He came up with that all by himself.
Stephen is a tiger.
And Sarah is a princess cat of course
Lawre has a spider web. He kept touching it and then wanted it washed off.
Daniel has a bat.
We celebrated Sarah's 8th birthday Sunday evening. For her birthday the girls went shopping and she picked out this dress.

Grandma said that she had a dress just like this when she was a little girl

Present time!
Miranda just got in from TN.

Aaron and Grandma watching from the sidelines.

Sarah said she was to old for Daddy to hold her while she opened her presents. Why do they rush to grow up?
"Rollerblades yes!"
I just loved this Bible and she did too!

Krissy smiled for Stephen

I said smile and Daniel posed.

"It's just what I wanted!" Thanks Ms. Amelia

Our James

Grandma and Grandaddy picked out this table a chair set. Sarah loves to host Tea party's.

Grandaddy drove in from Florida to be here for the party. He found Sarah the cutest tea set and scarfs to play dress up with.

Sarah loved making her Birthday Cake

A candy crown for the center of the Cake
Her Cake, for a girl who is now 8
Last night David put Krissy to bed on the bottom bunk in her and Sarah's room. I remember like it was yesterday Mary's first night and then Sarah's in this same bed.
After Daddy laid her down she never got up once. She looked around for a few min. and then went right to sleep. Tomorrow we take down her crib. We have done this 9 other times and it never gets any easier.
They grow up so fast!

Thursday promised to be sunny and warm in Maine so we decided to take advantage of it and go for a bike ride. We first went over to see my Mom in Oreno, and then went to Fort Knox. After visiting all the ghost there, (and there were so many) we bike on over to Ellsworth and did some shopping. Went from there straight over to Acadia Notational Park and up Cadillac Mt. Down to Bar Harbor and got an ice cream. Jumped back on the bike and rode back to Bangor to spend the evening with Jerry and Sue. All in all we rode over 150 miles. Thats a lot for me!!!

Mom and Me outside her appt. building.

This is the tower of the bridge from the bike as we go under it.

This is the base of the bridge the road is over my head.

OK this is looking straight down at the bridge below us and then the river. To the left is the old bridge. We are up in the tower looking down 400 ft. to the bottom.

400 ft up in the bridge tower. The view was incredible.

I grabbed David and pulled him in this room. It was so dark that you could see nothing!!! I took this pic. to see what it looked like inside.

I told David that when I was little we would run and jump all the way down on top of the gun stands. I chickened out to do so now but he did it!

We just left Fort Knox and this is the tower for the bridge in the distance.

This is the side view of the tower on the new bridge at Fort Knox as we drove under it on the bike. I have tried to rotate the pic.

Stopped in Ellsworth to check out the shops. Looking for Lobster silly bands.

Mt Cadillac Looking down on Bar Harbor Maine. The white clouds are islands in the bay. Watched the clouds move in over the land.

Sandy Beach Acadia National Park off of Bar Harbor Maine

8 Years ago David, Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen (4) and I hiked these trails. Dad started with us but had to come down on an easier trail. Good memories.
Sandy Beach. No kidding this is the name of this beach.

Thunder Hole Acadia National Park

This is Heidi's family's cottage up in Greenville on Moose Head Lake. It is named this cause if you go up to Squaw Mt. and look down the lake looks just like an outline of a moose's head.
Josh built a big fire that night and I finally warmed up a little.
There were apples on the apple tree.
We were out in our coats and there was two girls next door swimming. I don't know how they did this.

Joshua was celebrating his 27th birthday.
Heidi knows these waters well. She loves to fish.

Greenville Maine just beautiful

Josh insisted that we go to town and do some shopping and grab a bite to eat at the Frog.
We had been rained on while we were on the bike and loading it up onto the back of the truck. Two cold and tired travelers.
Brother Herb had us in stitches while he was reading the menu to us.
Too Funny!

I was standing on the dock at Herb and Heidi's family Lake cottage on Moose Head Lake in Greenville Maine
This is Moose Head Lake at the foot of Squaw Mt. My family skied at Squaw for years when I was growing up.
Riding on Herbs float boat. It was cold to us!

David and I were blessed with a visit with my family in Maine
