Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

We spent the night in Thomson GA at the Holiday Inn Express. I love to see peoples faces when we enter the dining room for breakfast. Thomson is a nice little town right of the highway of 20 in between Atlanta and Augusta and about 30 min. away from the lake. We again went to Mistletoe State Park and while David was staging the boat the children and I played at the play ground. Miranda and Tamara joined us at the boat ramp.

Krissy, Sarah, and Tamara. Tamara from PA is staying with Randa and joined us for some good old water fun. The sun didn't shine much.
Knee boarding :)

You could hear Sarah across the lake!

Look at Daniels hands. He is rubbing them together saying goody its still my turn.
OK Watch Stephen he is in one tube now and in the other one now. Remember we are flying around the lake.

At some point during the day the children started to jump from one tube to the next. Stephen, James, and Mary were the first. But by the end every one was doing it. Yes, even dad!

We are water logged. David and I could not decide to go the lake or not this weekend. There were a few factors that just did not make it at all that favorable. But in the end David decided that the children (himself also) just had to go and play with the boat.

Out of the nursery by one step.

Daniel and Lawre are growing up. We put the boys to bed after they picked up there room! David and I both agreed that Daniel and Lawre were ready to move out of the little beds and into big boy beds. After they were asleep, that was a job in its self, in our bed we started to take the little beds apart, taking the old border off and prepping the walls. David, James, and Mary set up the new bunk beds. Daniel picked them out months ago. We are so glad that we ordered them when we did. We don't want to keep putting off the things that are so important to us. I washed the new bedding and made up the beds. Hung the new border that they both just had to have. Space the final frontier. Then we moved the boys back into there room. David woke up Daniel, he did not want him to wake up in the night and fall on the floor. Daniel was so happy but not really awake. Early in the morning he was in my room and wanted me to come see his new room. We are still not finished but were in such a hurry to let the boys sleep in the bunk beds that they have been so patient about that I will have to finish the room with a TAD of help from the crew. We still have to hang up the big planet, space ships, and such and I think we'll be done. Unless David gets me to paint that whole accent wall from top to bottom dark blue, or all the light blue around the room the dark blue. I'm not sure what he will like until he sees it tonight. (can't get the pic in order)

Yesterday was one of the days that leaves a lasting impression on your hearts. Our little friend and loved one Oliva Culpepper went to be with Jesus. The long battle is over and she is now victorious with Christ our Lord. And yet David and I weep. We question and we battle our own fears. After a few nights of not sleeping and much prayer I went to sleep last night around 11:00 just to wake up at 4:00am. I could not sleep and had to walk around the house looking at all our children in there beds with not a worry or care in the world. Oh, to be like a child. I started to tell God again how can this all be fair. David calls it tortureing a child for years to then take home. ( don't have any answers just ramblings) Versus started to come to my mind. The Lord is my Shepard.... Death is but a shadow....Jesus wept....He rejoices. And all of a sudden a picture of Christ was so clear in my mind. He is big enough to weep with us, comfort us and hold us. He is also big enough to rejoice with Olivia, wipe away her tears, and hold her all at the same time.

I hold this as truth. Now to walk in it and know that all things are for his glory. We just can't really walk fully in it right now.

go to caringbridge Olivia Culpepper all lower case and one word and visit her site and read the post and look at the pictures. Cindy her mom has been a rock for us and a wealth of knowledge. The princess is loved and missed.

Karen the other night we were talking about tree frogs. Well this morning I went to pick up my purse and right here in my forure was a cute little green tree frog. Dose your dad still call you that? It was when I went to upload this pic. that I found Stephens. Do they think I wont know who is at the other end of the camera or what.
Stephen has my camra, again!

I asked Daniel what he was doing and he said that Aaron is a tiger and he had to tackle him.

My old grill has been giving me problems for a while. It has not been dependable to work right. It had many little things that you had to do just right in order to even get it to lite. David went out and got me this new one as a big surprise for me. Not many women would be thrilled to have a new grill, but my man knows his girl.

This is the last. We still have to put up the new fan, it's in the box and we will get to it some time just not sure what time that is.

I don't know how to put in order. But this is the first picture.

Randa moved out and it was a bitter sweet time for all of us. We were so happy that she had her cute little house right down the road from us and yet it left a big gap in our family here at home. I hated to see her room empty and would just close the door and try to ignore it.
Mary never pushed to move in and have her own room. I think that is why I pushed to try and get it done. She is so unselfish in so many ways.
Randa, Mary and I went shopping for somethings for the new room and had a lot of fun. Still need to find the right spread for the bed and also she wants things for her walls. The most important thing is it is her room and she loves it.
