Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

Karen came into the kitchen early Friday morning and asked where the boy's were. I told her they were down at the dock playing battle ship. She quick got her camera and snapped these pictures.
I'm not sure what time this was taken but I think it was when I was saying that it has taken me almost a week to finally relaxCasey answering one of Sarah's many questions. Casey was dressed warm because it did get chilly in Florida

Karen's mom came over for a bit of a visit and it was very relaxing on the back porch

The wind was blowing and the water was rough but that didn't stop us from having some fun in the lake until the lightning started to strike and the thunder boomed. We all ran inside and the Ryan's taught some of us a new game called "Train Wreck". While we played some took a nap while others laid around and watched a movie.

Friday night the Ryan's went to Sonny's to meet up with family. While they were out the little ones and I made desert. Anything with chocolate is good; melted chocolate even better!

After getting the children settled we went to town to check on the activities going on down town. We met up with Billy's family and ran into an old friend Tony. Other then that we didn't see anyone else we knew and went on back to the cottage for some ice cream, yummy!

I got up before the children or the sun and lit our bags so they would be glowing when the kids woke up. It had been raining or to windy to do it the night before. They loved it!

This is the view we saw every morning right from our bed. The very first morning we were there David woke me up and said for me to look out the window and boy am I glad I did.

After starting the day with a gorgeous sunrise and taking my time to enjoy it, the day got to hopping at a very fast pace. The whole house had to be cleaned and washed. Everyone pitched in and we got it done in record time. The children were great at helping with big things as well as the little. Krissy did her job of putting finger prints all over the many glass doors. While Karen and I were directing traffic in the house Cary and David were having some fun of there own. They had to get the boat packed and over to Camp Blanding by 9am to meet Scott so they could trailer it out of the lake. It was a good thing they started early cause the boat had a dead battery. So a quick trip to Wal-Mart to get a battery charger before they could begin the process. The Ryan's left a few min before us to get a spot at the parade for all of us. When we discovered that our boat trailer had a flat tire. James and David changed it out on the side of the road and we hurried over to John's to drop off the food. We missed the parade, Cary sent me pic. of my niece marching with the band. We did make it to the craft show, FINALLY!

Sarah's turn to have her face painted

Austin's turn to have his arm painted. He had a "Gator" of course.
Stephen showing off his snake. The girls sparkles are cute!

James and Stephen talking to Krissy Girl

I love this picture. I think it is the only one of us all together. This was taken right after all the kids had a turn sucking in helium to try and talk like a chipmunk
Walker crew heading back to Grandaddy's for a nap. I need one!

Krissy loved her balloon

Cary and Karen visited with Grandaddy

After a long nap I was ready to load up the kids and head out to the park to wait for the fire works to begin. We talked with friends and family, threw the Frisbee, ran around in circles and played on the park slides. Then it rained and we all ran to our cars. The van was parked on a little sand hill and we got stuck. Between James, Grandaddy and David we got out in no time and headed back to Granddaddy's and crashed for the night. We could hear the booms off in the distance.

Rain in Florida is just "liquid sunshine". We are so thankful for the time we had visiting with friends and family.
