Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

Today was a big day. First thing this morning Aaron and I went to his dentist to have his tooth fixed. Pic. did not turn out. At the dentist office Dr. Gay asked all kinds of questions about Daniel and his ALL. A close friend of the dentist has a daughter that was diagnosed with AML. A more vicious type of Leukemia that really likes to come back. They can usually get it in the first go round with CHEMO but it likes to rear its ugly head and then they do a transplant. Just BAD news. I was not expecting it to hit me as hard as it did. This girl is from right here in Dublin and I felt sick when I was talking about this awful sickness. Will I ever stop feeling this way? I'm sure I will.
When we got home we did lunch and I needed to work in the office on our add campaign for Greenwood Place. The kids went down to Grandma's for a visit and then came home for a quick supper. cause David was taking us all out to the movies to see "Despicable Me". Great Movie. While we were getting dressed Daniel came running in my room and wanted to show me his latest prize. Another tooth was pulled. I asked him how he did it and he said, "Daddy just yanked it right out of my head."
I'm so glad that we went to the movies. It was so funny! There was two other family's there. A father and two children right behind us and then a mother and two children right in front of us. The whole theater was empty except for the 3 rows we were in right in a row. Well the father behind us almost choked on his popcorn I don't know how many times, and this would set David off laughing at him and the movie and the woman in front of them would turn around and scowl which I thought was to funny and the kids were all just laughing. That I don't know how anyone could have kept a straight face it was so contagious. The laughing bug came home with us and every one will be quoting this movie for ever and everyone will continue to laugh at the same jokes. (OH POOP!) For us tonight money well spent.

  1. Lawre got a hair cut! It's so cute on him - shows his smile even more. We loved that movie too - I can just hear you guys laughing your heads off and getting nasty looks! I'm so sorry to hear about the little girl. I don't know if the feeling ever goes away when your family has struggled with something and you hear about another family who is in the battle. But we do know the power of prayer and we will be praying for her.

  2. What a picture. Lawre's haircut really shows up. Just adorable. Love Daniel's smile.
Can tell Sarah has everything under control.

I know you all had a blast at the movie. I can just picture all of you.

I will keep that little girl in my prayers. I just cannot imagine going through something like that, it can only be God's hand on your shoulders. Love and Kisses

PS. If sentences seem discompomulated (sp) just try to figure out what it is supposed to be. At least this is only my second try tonight.
