Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

Grandaddy and Grandma thank you for taking us to the lake and mom for coming. We had such a great time and found much joy as we.....

worked together,
(Grandaddy putting a knot in the rope that will come loose
at the end of the day
it did come loose despite much scepticism)

finding quiet time,

fishing,

and more fishing,

Grandaddy learned how to keep his shadow by his side all week.

learning new things,
(Stephen learning to drop one ski and slalom)

achieving our goals,

resting,

loving,
and just enjoying
being

together!

On our way to FL we make a
pit stop at our almost half way mark to Florida.

This is a long ramp up to the center that is built on stilts for when the river floods part of this ramp and most of the parking lot is under water. We have seen this many times on our trips to Florida.
Not a live bear but Lawre is not so sure.
Once we were coming thru Fargo and this jeep pulled up beside us
with a shot bear draped across his hood. It was big and sad.
This is a big swampy, hunting area.

Look mommy live GA snakessssss.

The Suwannee River in Fargo, GA. there is a rest area
that we make a pit stop when it is open

I love this how all the boys were following Daddy

Katie was ready to get out and stretch her legs.
She was going to stay at with the borders but she hurt her paw
and we had to bring her. She was very good, and her paw is fine now.

Kingsley Lake, right out side of Keystone Heights and Starke, Florida
The top side is Camp Blanding and the bottom side is where we stayed.

Sarah played with Grammy for 3 weeks and loved every min.
Each of the children painted a magnet.
They took there time...
and did a good job.
Grammy watched from the side lines

Mom this better not be for the blog...
Ha ha, he he, may be, may be

Aw Loving Grandma

Swim, Swim, Swim

This is by far the coolest move
Getting ready for the jump...(Stephen & Lawre)
Executing a perfect landing, almost
if not on Aaron & Sarah

David and James
Mary and Sarah

James trying to recoup from tubing
Peace and quiet.
For like one second this is right before the king of the dock fight
Down time
David coming out to say his good buys. He had to go back to N.C. to work.

"Flada liven man....Flada liven..."
Quote from Aunt Pat

David hugging his Grammy Good Buy.

We had the wildest king of the dock fight. Everyone was thrown in.

I can walk on water!
If you look close Stephen was jumping in when I took the pic.
and he looks like he is just standing there.
Daniel looks like he will be able to walk on it too
Daddy is going to fly
Sarah is flying....running

Katie loves to ride in the boat. When she saw David walk down the dock she would take off after him so she wouldn't be left behind.
Mary with Daddy, and David with James having a chicken fight.

Krissy the little kitty cat was up on the ledge of the porch with her cheeto puff
Suzanne, Randa, Leann, and Mom catching up with each other.

  1. good job, moma *pats her on the head* lol

The best representation you could find of me was six-eight kids(who's counting) pulling-pushing me off the dock??? o.O ;)

  2. Oh what fun we all had!! We made memories that will be with us forever. No fussing, no fighting, just plenty of lovin'. :) I was so relieved that Toinia didn't make her famous Konkanoodle. haha
The kids had so much fun doing their best to drown each other...The pictures are great Toinia. I do hope we will be able to do this again next year. Good to be with Grammy. These pictures of the kids will stay with me and John for the rest of our lives along with all the lovin' we got. Hugs and Kisses.
