Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.

Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.

Fort Puluski, Savannah Georgia
Powder Rat, Ammo Private, Morale Leader, Flag Bearer, Sargent, Commander Chief

Time for room inspection.

All day long the children pretended they were in the army.
Bring on the grub.
Heave, ho, the ammo cart must get through.
The fort was used a prison.

Stephen and Aaron loading the canon
The the far left of the picture you can see dirt mounds.
Under the mounds are tunnels that you can run through.
We had a blast running and feeling like you were going to get lost.
Attention
Parade ground in the middle of fort.
Our Laure looking at how they get the water in to the moat.
We had a picnic then changed and went to the beach.

We watched great big boats leave the channel and head out to see.

Everyone worked hard on the Sand Island.
David going to throw me in the ocean. Help!!!!
He didn't cause I had my camera. ha ha
Going to hang ten
Daddy getting me positioned on my board
Waiting for the perfect wave
Letting it rip

Mary was buried in what we latter made the volcano

Daniel was cold and went up to build himself a nest to get warm in.
Right in the middle of the life guards road.
We were packing it up but Lawre had to go around the island one more time.

  1. A fort AND a beach?? Love it! The forts are always so interesting to go through and imagine what life was like back then for the people - we can't comprehend! Did you like Tybee Island?
