Our History to go along with our present that you are going to share with us.
Back in 1982 David loved to play video games down at the old Tasty Cave. Not the kind of games the kids play today, but the first real arcade games that took a quarter to play. On these old time machines if you had the most points then you could enter your initials as high scorer. Because we were together and in love he wanted to put both of our initials up. I laughed and loved the idea. At first we said, DAT David and Toinia, but David said, "NO" it would be and will always be "TAD" Toinia and David and he wanted the whole world to know it. (Keystone was our whole world) Aww kind of cute right. Well now all these years later it is not just TAD but a few more. 10 to be exact. Miranda, David, James, Mary, Stephen, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Lawre, and baby Krissy. So you see we are Just a TAD more then when we first started out.
I would FREAK OUT if I almost touched a snake in my yard! I know I'm a Florida girl, but I'm not used to those things anymore! What kind was it??
ReplyDeleteI love those times on the patio when we can just sit and "be" with our loved ones. I'm sure that time with Krissy was just precious :).
And by the way, I'm in love with your yard...it's so spacious and has so many nicely landscaped "nooks".
ReplyDeleteKaren it helps that we had a plant nursery here for a few years. I could order in a few extra "to see how the plant would do here," was my excuse. We all love working in the yard. The hardest part of Daniels illness was when we could not go out side. He could not even be around house plants. I had to get rid of all of them and my yard still is not up to what it was. We closed the nursery and the green houses. They didn't make enough money for the time and investment but I loved it. I'll post some pictures.
ReplyDeleteKaren the snake was not venimous(?) but I all most had a heart attack. I hate snakes. Our neighbors daughter came over with a pellit gun and chased it under a big shrub right by our side door. When David got home he looked everywhere for it (I can't do snakes) but at last he could not find it. So it is on the loose to scare me again.
